Are City a better all round team without Haaland?

We will make it work with him even if we have to change our style and manager because no way will the higher ups allow him to walk away as a failure because what kind of message does that send out .
Bernardo gundo Mahrez grealish ardd we all failing to get him into the game and it was only when kdb came on that we tried to get him involved . At least 5 players need moving on but it will take time .

It has nothing to do with that.

If we had just played the early ball and complimented his running then we would have seen a different player and probably a different result.

Peps shit tactics and instruction are the only issue here.
I'm not blaming him for it entirely, it's a shared blame, the players not passing the ball are equally to blame.

Just saying in a game like that we'd have been better off with another midfield on because we pretty much played with 10 men.

I 100% agree with that, except we shouldnt have to consider using another midfielder when we have the best no.9 on the planet in our 11........just fucking respond to his movement and pass to the ****!!!!!

think Haaland and City's performances against Villa and then Arsenal were quite interesting - Haaland looked way more integrated into the front 3 in those 2 games, as opposed to being the out and out target man. Could be a tactical shift in the way he is used? thought he was a threat and a bully at Arsenal, great game from him.

They have tweaked something after the critism the players and Pep got. I always thought they are smart enough to work it out. The end result is we mix up our attacks a little bit now and Haaland is dropping deeper once in a while.

We have to use Haaland’s strengths, we need to stretch teams by getting the ball forward quicker. Balls into channels quicker and turning the opposition. Second half against Arsenal we created a lot more space, to get in behind.
