Are City really ruining football?

Football was ruined when united Liverpool and arsenal got greedy and made it all about money. We got lucky with our takeover and now are beating them at there own game. They don’t like it and probably one day will get their way so they have all the advantages again. But until that day comes - enjoy.

Simple answer?

No, we aren't ruining the PL. Pep is doing what he does in every league and that's raising the level/standard of that league.

By the way...
2011-2020: 5 diff teams won the league (City, Chelsea, United, Liverpool and Leicester)
2001-2010: 3 diff teams won the league (United [5x], Chelsea and Arsenal)
1991-2000: 4 teams won the league (United [7x], Arsenal, Blackburn and Leeds)

Was the league not destroyed from 1990-2010 when United was dominating the league?

We are brilliant. We don't have to apologize to anyone for being brilliant. The rest of the fans especially fans of "big teams" should ask their owners why they aren't as good, why their singings aren't as good, why they aren't investing back in the team as well as us, so on and so forth.
Dividing up the titles by decade rather obscures the way that in the Premier League there was basically for twenty (yes 20) years a United v Arsenal duopoly (the Blackburn challenge just collapsed after their tiltle winning season) followed by a United v Chelsea duopoly, and it was City that ended the tedious domination of just two teams at a time. Of course, we are now in serious danger of City relegating Liverpool to a Blackburn role (in terms of title wins, not long run challenges) but I think our dominance is far better for football than the United v one other era was: Guardiola demonstrated in two Champions League finals the limitations of Ferguson's approach to football and he has brought that superior understanding of the game to first the German and now the English leagues, raising the standard as you say. But how do you follow a genius? That worries me.

Lots and lots of crying because mean old City have ended the title race on the 2nd day of 2022. I feel like they should be mad at Liverpool and Chelsea for dropping points left and right during the festive period. THEY'RE the ones ruining football for playing like a shit scum team of recent years.

I would be fuming if I was the fan of another club, proper fuming how dare that bald Spanish fraud come over to this country and win everything, he is a proper wrong 'un.

Let's face it, the only people who actually think we're ruining the sport are certain supporters of certain clubs who think they're entitled to win trophies every season because that's what they grew up with and that's the entire reason why they support those clubs in the first place.

What they mean is that we're ruining their enjoyment of the sport and that thought couldn't make me happier. Fuck 'em.

Realistically, a Leicester anomaly aside, there are only three clubs capable of winning the premier league at the moment and this has been the case for almost ten years. Spurs, Arsenal and the rags might be challenging soon to add to the mix. Since it's conception the premier league has only been won by seven clubs and three of those so far have only won it once.

In the first twelve years aside from one Blackburn win it was shared out between the rags and Arsenal, with the rags dominating. Funny I don't remember anyone saying it was boring back then, or it was ruining football. It was all "Super Sunday!" and all that bollocks, the other teams were mere cannon fodder, even more than some are now. At least now they get a bigger share of the cake to be more competitive.

Ffp is probably ruining Premier league and champions league football. Remove the probably illegal and anti-competitive spending restrictions and the likes of Everton, Villa and Newcastle could be right at the top competing for honours.
