Are Fleetwood Mac the wildest band ever?

When I saw the thread title they were the band that popped into my mind. You'd have struggled to predict what they would go on to become when they first appeared fresh faced doing New Life on TOTP!

Dave Gahan is 60 now which given what he's put his body through is an achievement in itself. Hopefully he'll continue to defy the odds.

Having Jesus has a close personal mate must have helped.

I've heard that back in the day there was a couple of little scamp's called Keith Richards and Mick Jagger who might have put it about a bit, load of bollocks iif you ask me

No not the wildest but amazing relationship issues especially during making one of the greatest albums of all time. Every track on that album is a classic.

Surprised no one has mentioned Cliff and the shadows yet. Rumours are Sue Barker was once pecked on the cheek by Cliff after a mulled wine session and Hank if you press rewind on the tour DVD can be seen walking anti clockwise while playing guitar.

It's why Cliff stopped recording with them. Devil whoaman was a barely concealed dig at the speccy Lucifer loving lead guitarist.

Hank Marvin was just a voyeur, he was always to be seen seen in the shadows behind Cliff if you look closely enough.

Ha ha that's quality, you're a fucking nutter, and I applaud you sir

I know a guy who was in a band signed to the same label as the Mondays, and James at the time. They supported them on tour, and he reckons the Mondays dressing room pre gig was carnage, he was no shrinking violet himself, but what he witnessed first hand actually shocked him.
James, on the other hand, he says, were boring fuckers, no smoking, fruit bowl riders, water, fruit juice.
Edit.
Great band mind.
Was told by the manager of Rock City in Nottingham in the 90s that Primal Scream knocked the Happy Mondays into a cocked hat when it came to drug intake before and after a gig.
