Are Labour a total shambles now as an opposition?

May’s. But only for the reason that if I was in Corbyn’s, there’s a chance I would be able to recall the memory of shagging Diane Abbot.
Shagging Diane Abbott aside *shudders* I'd say Corbyn is the happier of the two at the moment.

I think the truth is previously there was an obvious choice on domestic policy between the two main parties and brexit now adds a level of confusion. The waiting game will fail because the brexit split will be 50 50 for quite some time. Labour are hoping for something that will not arrive and that’s more clarity to how the wind is blowing. Like May they don’t know what to do so delay. Politicians whose sole purpose is gaining power cannot see a way to get it.

At some point labour and the Tories will be forced to make a decision one way or the other.

The Tories civil war is well known as is played out on a daily basis with the added awfulness that they're in office.

Labour's civil war has gone quiet after the Blairites suffered defeat after defeat, but it's not gone away. The third wayers have rallied round the people's vote campaign and are using it as a stick to beat the left. Always nice to have a reminder of just what shits they are.....

I see Brexit as the oil for these civil wars not the engine. You have two right wing faction slugging it out in the Tory party and left wing and a right wing factions pummelling each other in the Labour party.

The real problem is we have too many fucking right wingers.

Party activists pile pressure on Corbyn to back second vote
Labour leftwingers launch internal campaign for new referendum, but some senior figures fear policy shift could cost votes

Yeah, right, if that's how you see it, fine.

Watch this space, as the Labour party leadership shifts its position, in response to a grassroots campaign (that it actually started itself).

Old school Labour democracy! I love it, makes me want to dig up my tank top and flares.

Labour & Tories are unfit for office.

It's a simple choice at the next election: the shambles that is the opposition, the shambles that is the Government, and the shambles represented by any of the alternative parties. I think I shall replicate my sojourn in the polling booth for the Greater Manchester Mayoral Elections - vote for all of 'em!
