Are "superstar" players afraid to transfer to Premier League from Europe?

I don't believe any of these 20 were considered superstars upon being signed, we have 5 on this list

5. David Silva

6. Peter Schmeichel

7. Eden Hazard

Hang on Pogba returned to the Premier League which defeats your argument.

OK it was triple the wages, huge signing on fee and the fact no one seems arsed that he does nowt but he is a superstar.

For france
Aye but he's only a superstar dancer and poser

None of those were superstars when signed to Premier league, it's very strange it hasn't happened until now

they all were at the top clubs at the time,so why would they move to the premier league, as for mbappe and haaland they are just kids, and their careers are just starting,
neymar went for the money, after psg bought him for 200m , so in answer to your question ,no

The premier league is the richest and most followed league in the world, the balloon payments relegation teams get is bigger than revenue of most clubs in the top 5 leagues. The super league was mooted for this reason.

UEFA couldn't accept this monopoly which is why Laliga clubs used to get benefit of ref decisions and top awards in the football world.
Like in any other sport, someone shouldn't be called GOAT unless they play in the toughest league.

Maradona never played in England. He can’t be considered the greatest? The EPL is the toughest, currently. In the past it was Serie A.
