Oakiecokie. Have you ever watched a single game of a team that Mourinho manages? You think its negative now then youve got the shock of your life coming if he takes charge.

Mourinho plays the same way mancini does, probably why he is having so much success at Inter as he has inherited an almost perfect squad for him. These "Negative Italian" tactics are what know amongst the wider footballing community as how to build a team properley. Sort out the defence then work forwards.

Win percentage is better under Mancini, Points per game is better under Mancini. These are not his players and this is not his team. Take that into account and i think he is doing a good job.

Plus, unlike Hughes, when things are going wrong he was on the touchline talking to his players, berating in some cases. If they aint listening thats not his fault and he will ship them out in the summer.

People seems to forget that Sunderland played really really well in the first half, this was their cup final – in second half that Gordon dude saved their ass. So I’m happy with a point. Cracking goal from AJ!

I dont understand all the talk that "this was their cup final" was the same when we played everton.I dont really undertsand what it means, hopefully its not some delusion that teams regard playing us as being that important.

Everything considered in this match against Sunderland, do you think 1-1 is satisfying or does this match prove that we are on a downward spiral? Would you have taken the result before the match?
Sorry but for me,we,ve been on a downward spiral since Mancini arrived.Should have started with two front men from the start as their centre halfs looked crap !!!!!
Roll on June and get Jose M. here and bleedin` quickly !!!!!!!!!!!!

Yet another blind mouse.

We have increased our points per game tally since Mancini arrived. In the real world thats called an improvement.

In the end happy with 1v1.

If you said we would have four points from our last two away matches I would have been more than pleased with that.

Disappointed first half but admire how Bobby Manc changes tactics and personnel so quickly and effectively when things arnt going to plan. Something Mark Hughes could not do!

What disappoints me is how slow we are to take off and how much quicker the oppositions seems to be in hassling for the ball!

Why? Have the players lost the fitness they had under Hughes?

It still amazes me how many people say this.Admiration of how quickly he makes changes but baffled by how slow we are to take off in a game.
He gets his tactics wrong from the start nearly all the time and HAS to make a change. If only he got it right from the start.

Yes totally agree with you on this!

It cant be easy coming to a job mid season and being an instant success in a league totally different to what you are used too!

Put it down to a learning curve but for his sake he needs to learn abit quicker!

We were excellent in the second half, dire in the first. Don't know what to make of it all.

beginning of the end of what?
winning the league
getting 4th
mancini's reign

come on give us a chance

i suspect you mean 4th and if so absolutley not we are still pole position
and after the fulham game assuming we come out unscathed then we have 6 out of 9 games at home.
we can do it

The beginning of the end my arse! if you had said to me before the chelsea and sunderland away games "i'll give you 4 points for those 2 games, not only would i have taken your hand off, i would have taken your fucking arm as well ! Dont you think that spurs and villa and liverpool are not going to have the odd dodgy first half or indeed both halfs from now untill the end of the season, get a grip people ! onwards and upwards,COME ON CITY !
