Are United Really 17 Points Better Than Us ATM?

We've actually got 2 games in hand but couldn't tell you if we'll actually get anything out of them. All depends how Spurs get on which will dictate our tactics.

The cracks are showing though, they've relied too heavily on their resilience and persistence this season. They really need to spend big in the summer or the rest of the top 5/6 will close the gap significantly.

It's shyte when you see the table and we are that far behind. We along with Arsenal & Chelsea have handed them the title, us & Chelsea imparticular have better squads imo.

Home draws with Blackburn, Birmingham & Fulham & losses to Arsenal & Everton account for 12 of these points, don't think they have lost at home all season so it shows how important it is to make your home games count.

It won't be that many points next season I am certain

Well I'm saying it again! ;-)

Giggs is a year older, VdS is retiring as is probably Scholes. Carrick is a bag of shite, Wio looks knackered, Berbatoss plays when he feels like it.

Twelve years ago we we,re light years away from them now we've closed the gap to a few places in the league, we can now play them with some expectation, as the league table show's they are overall still better than us but not by much and we're getting closer all the time.

The turning point for me was getting beat away at Villa and drawing away at Birmingham.(same week?) Until that point we were right on their tails. We never recovered after those two setbacks.

Also losing to Shreks overhead kick was another blow.

Games they always win at home (Blackburn,Fulham etc) are the reason we aren't anywhere close.

Well last season they were 18 points better off having beaten us home and away. All I would hope for is that that gap has narrowed, we have a top 4 place and won FA cup, but knowing the typical city effect it will be Stoke to win FA cup Spurs in 4th and them bastards to not only win league but win the CL as well. For what it is worth they are a better squad than us and until Bert has got rid of all the moaners and groaners and replaced the twenty five with his players and have had time to gel as a unit I expect the same each year.

Hit the nail on the head. Forget all the other slip ups, this is what will cost us 4th, only getting 1 point out of 6 in them two games. That is when I knew we would hand it to Spurs again and that is starting to happen.
