Only two teams I haveever heard nationally reffered to as United or City and that is them and us.

At the last Etihad Derby in the Prem, I noticed that many Blues were too nervous to really get behind the team. That doesn’t happen against Liverpool.

I have to say since our take over, and Klopp coming to the dippers, I hate them with a passion, and have zero respect for them as a club.

Well us technically being in the same city (even though we all know they are in Trafford) Is the only thing maybe keeping us rivals and them being dickheads of course.

Technically ? They arent in Manchester so arent our City revivals. No more than Bolton, Oldham etc or any other Greater Manchester team.
Once got into a big row at a quiz night when asked to name the only 6 true City derbies. Liverpool, Nottingham, Bristol, Glasgow, cant remember the other ! But I could only think of 5. Yes it's always great to beat utd and it's fun watching them lose. But after all the thinks liverpool have done over the last few years, coach welcome, hacking, VAR, the press/media lovein, so many ex dippers as pundits. At the moment for me I hate liverpool alot more, utd are more a fun thing good comedy value

Sheffield? And if Glasgow is included Dundee has to be as well, the grounds are pretty much next to each other. Probably Edinburgh too?

Yes.

We weren’t even close to being any kind of rivals to Liverpool last season. We didn’t even scratch the surface of pushing them for the title in any way.

How the fuck can we consider ourselves their rivals? They were 18 points ahead of us when we were 19 points ahead of Leicester in 5th and 15 ahead of Chelsea and United.

It’s like if Liverpool fans said they’re our biggest rivals in 2017-18 after finishing 25 points behind us. It’s actually quite laughable.

Liverpool will be further ahead of us than we will be ahead of United again this season n’all.

Plus United beat us 3 out of 4 games last season and have the best record on our ground by a mile. Last 6 Etihad derbies: P6 W1 D1 L4 F6 A8... that pisses me off more than our record at Anfield!

Back in the day when the rags were just beginning their long slide in to mayhem and mediocrity, it used to be fun to watch rag lunatics on YouTube ranting and raving, wander over to the caf for a bit of schadenfreude, now it's not worth the trip. they all live under a permanent black cloud these days. They used to lift their spirits with the odd decent result, like beating us or the latest high profile signing that all too soon turned to shit, but now they're all mogadon men.

I'd like to say we're entirely responsible for this state of affairs and while there's no doubt we've pushed them to the cliff edge, it's fair to say the dippers have pushed them over.
