Are United Still Our 'Main' Rivals?

People have short memories, cast your mind back to 20 years ago when the scum were lording it over everyone

they are exactly where we wanted them to be all those years ago, bang average and no sign of that ending soon

they are still our biggest game, I get more satisfaction when we beat them

i quite enjoy laughing at their demise though
 
United will always be our local rivals , because they are the closest club geographically to us ..... but title rivals?

That remains to be seen.

being a 53 year old city fan ,i fucking hate that club,i hate the united fans who didn't think twice about belittling us as they were the elite and we were shite,we weren't a threat but the scourn, shit and humiliation they poured on us fans will stay with me forever ,but it made me love city more , maybe that's why the transfer thread is full of slapped arses they just haven't lived through the shite times, and they were shite,
 
IMO our main rival just has to be the team that we're most in contention with, therefore are liVARpool our current main rival.
As a bloke raised in North Manchester I'm obviously chuffed to see Untied in our rear view mirror, and beating them is always a joy, but they haven't rivaled us, as such, for quite some time whereas the red dippers have.
