I feel uneasy tbh.

Bob, I've been uneasy for months but I and a few others on here got shouted down, flamed, outed as a Rag (by a Mod no less!) and abused by 'The Cabal' on here. All rational, reasoned, objective discussion has been suppressed.
Worrying times.

it might be that me and you are a little over cautious, impatient maybe.
I just have this niggle.
And yet you still fathered lovely kids.

Well done.

lets hope it works out as well as it did for Barca

Difference = messi xavi and iniesta.
This is the team that won the Champions League 3 years after cheeky and co took over:

-----------------Valdes
Olegeur---Marquez---Puyol---Van Bronckhorst

----------------Edmilson

------------Deco-----Van Bommel
----Guily----------------------Ronaldinho
-----------------Eto'o

Xavi and Iniesta were on the bench and Messi played 25 games that season but didn't make the bench for the final.

That team shits on ours and the subsequent team with messi xavi and iniesta in shits on that! I don't see is heading towards signing players like eto'o or ronaldinho we keep missing out on that level of player and we have let two close to that level Balo and tevez go. I really hope we have a big move lined up

I find it difficult to agree with the notion people feel uneasy. We have assembled the best squad we have ever had and we are clearly still in the market (would you feel uneasy if the Isco pendulum had swung the right way?) - you can argue that we are letting a few players go, but that's bound to happen when we have assembled a squad with as much quality as we have. You look at each transfer individually and there isn't one that stinks of trying to squeeze out the pennies.

De Jong was hounded for being limited (now we have fernandinho), Johnson was hounded for being inconsistent (now we have Navas), Tevez has been a long running saga and has 1 year left (and we are evidently in the market for a striker), the only one that is arguable is Balo, who caused mixed views all around. What do you guys who are worried really want to see, £100m splash out every window?

Don't think anybody does, however we have missed all our major targets over the last two years if Isco & Cavani are not coming. last year we lost the league title as we missed out on VP and Hazard. You cannot have a target of winning the champions league if you miss out on your transfer targets every season. We have to move players out as they have shown they are not good enough to win European trophies. We have to replace with better until you have the best squad if you seriously want to win the Champions league.

tevez, balo, nige, aj all gone. not ONE replacement for any of them. well not worth having anyway,
If that was anyone else they'd be banned for wumming

Guessing you are bored

have they gone?
have we replaced them?
Navas and Fernandinho!!

You might have a point re Tevez and Balotelli if it was August

Not sure why you posted that. We have enough problems with Man Utd fans on this message board pretending to be blues without one of our own playing the fool

Yeh we are.

Its needed IMO, the players who aren't necessarily dead wood but are not in the plans for the future.

They will be replaced and the squad will be streamlined so there is a quality first 11 and a strong bench and a good influx of youth players.
