are we asset stripping?

I think we are trying to run the club like a business and it's all about the numbers and turning a profit the first couple of seasons was muppet heaven but it wasn't sustainable. We need to invest in the young lads.

True but we are about eight years away from those lads coming out of the academy being good enough to win european trophies.

Yeh we are.

Its needed IMO, the players who aren't necessarily dead wood but are not in the plans for the future.

They will be replaced and the squad will be streamlined so there is a quality first 11 and a strong bench and a good influx of youth players.

Would it not be wise to secure other assets before unloading the ones we have?

Fernandinho and Navas for AJ and NDJ.

Garcia and Sinclair were suppose to fit the bill but obviously haven't.

Balo has only been gone since January. Not much of a chance to fix that problem. Tevez has only just left.

Still got 2 months left of the transfer window.

No.

Profound.

Balotelli - Guidetti
Jovetic - Tevez
Navas - Johnson
Fernandinho - de Jong

That's what I think anyway
