i think the good majority of us boo'd him into oblivion last time he came with the toon, and to be honest it was well deserved, however, and I don't say this likely, he, unlike the last few bouts of rehabilitation seems to have matured greatly and he deserves credit for turning his life around, i'm not saying i wouldn't give him a slap because he has one of those faces but to be fair i'm gonna clap the scouse prick, takes a big man to turn his life around.

And it takes an even bigger man than that to realise that sometimes people act the way they do for a reason. Peoples behaviour can be dictated by all sorts of reasons. I'm not defending his previous actions but sometimes you have to look at the bigger picture.

Of course not but neither do i feel someone should be lauded just because they are slightly less of a cnut than they used to be.

I have not read the thread yet but I will not be booing Barton.

He tried his absolute best while with us and even got an England cap as his attitude and performances were very good.

He has had his many problems off the pitch but it looks like he may well be over them now and I say good luck to him

He kicked ten bells out of someone and was punished

How many people do you know / or yourself who have commited an act of violence but got away with it / or were punished. Most of us could name some one

Lets move on from Barton and look to the future
