Fair enough that's your opinion, but in mine that is quite an achievement to do what he's done, especially with him being in the public eye and getting so much bad press in the past.

Personally, I'm more bothered about getting behind our own team than singling out a player from another club.
 
i hope he doesnt get booed has he was the only shinning light in pearces last season and if it wasnt for him i think we wouldnt be were we are today
 
wont applaud and wont boo. dont give a shit about his off field antics he gave his all for us and think, we got nearly 6 million quid for him! both parties have moved on and i think barton has cleaned himself up a bit.

Tandy was a bigger nob than Barton and from all the reports Barton stuck that cigar in Tandy's face after Tandy tried to set Barton's shirt on fire.

I lost all my respect for Barton after the boro transfer request.
He signed an improved contract with us and gave this site an exclusive interview. Most of the posters on here were creaming themselves and yet I thought he was an absolute c*nt. He refused to answer the question about his buy out clause.

Then there was the incident in the bar in Thailand, the fight with a fifteen year old and Dunne broke his toe trying to separate them.........remember that?

The outburst on Radio Manchester, calling the rest of the squad....... pot and kettle Joey.

Then the Dabo incident just before the derby. Yeah that was really hard Joey, attacking someone from behind.

Ric and Josh did an interview with Richard Dunne for the site a couple of years back. Barton was mentioned and Dunne just rolled his eyes. That says it all.

I hope Barton gets fucking snapped in two on Sunday. It couldn't happen to a more horrible little twat.

And for those who are saying he's turned his life around, well he's done that a couple of times before. Let's just wait and see eh.
 
He pretty much single handedly kept us up one year imo.

Despite what he has done I won't be booing him, but I won't be cheering him either.
 
Yes Barton was a prized prick but i'm sure many other ex City players were also and did'nt have as much heart on the pitch as him. But would we boo Nige if he commited the same crimes as Barton whilst still a blue. Ignore him were a bigger club without him

yeah ya know, he still caused a lot of problems at the club in the past ya know, James Tandy ya know, Dabo ya know, last min transfer request ya know.

That interview was a joke and I just thought it was the case he thought he was billy big bollocks at the club ya know.
