We City fans weren't an embarrassment in Rotterdam and i'm sure there are plenty of English fans that go abroad
to watch the football and lap up a bit of culture. To tar everybody with the same brush is what got total innocents
battered back in the bad old days.

If you're on about the fans still looking for a scrap then yes they're an embarrassment. Can't fault the English attendances however.

I think it is the ones doing it that are the mugs. Yes Russia your only 30 years to fucking late for English footy violence. When you stay teetotal and go to mma gyms just to train to fight footy fans i think you have to much free time on your hands.

Sorry, my point isn't clear in that post. I was pointing out that our top 2 leagues (not just the premier league) are among the top 3/4 attended in Europe.

I always thought that an England's football hooligans hardness was measured by how far they they could throw a plastic patio chair. I once saw a hooligan during Espanya 82 who was that hard he could even throw the matching patio table.

Not in the way you think it is. The brits abroad mentality of getting hammered and the fall out that comes with it is an embarrassment. English fans live in a viscous circle of behaving like animals and getting treated like animals.

I think any football fan who goes out to have a fight at the match is an absolute embarrassment. You see them on the news at England away games with their tops off, beer bellies out, caps on and tattoos everywhere with their arms outstretched thinking its some sort of invasion and I just look at them and think what a bunch of utter wank stains you are.

Yep well said. I notice more it's blokes in there 40's and 50's rather than the younger generation - hopefully the old school Danny dyers will f*ck off and let the new generation go to football to enjoy the football and nothing else
