Are we going to finish above the rags this season?

No

The reason I say this is that although we have a batter side(and did so last year), the rags are spotted 10 to 15 points a season from sides, simply giving up before the game(Wolves, Wigan, Spurs and the like).

I've already posted 'yes' but this is a very good point. The rags have points in the bag before the season even starts.
A number of teams go as far as to field weakened teams and I guess thats a step further down that road.

yep

we have a team that is better in every dept

if mancini can keep everyone happy and get's the team right.

No. Shrek will have a point to prove, Hernandez will be a real threat, Nani and Valencia will be even better this season and if they land Suarez they will give Chelsea another run for their money for the title.

No :( !

United are a better team than many give them credit for on here. And will be better than last season with their younger players being a year older and more experienced and any new signings should improve them (Hernandez will do more damage than Berbatov has). Evra and Rooney will have points to prove. They could well win the league.

Chelsea were outstanding last season (apart from against us!) but they are an ageing team and I think won't be as good as last season. I'll go for 2nd for them.

I think we'll finish 3rd.

I don't think we'll finish ahead of them next season, but the gap is obviously closing.

Sorry Ric - but what gap ??

Yes. I dont think the Wigan's and the Wolves of this World will roll over for them anymore and I think the fear of their fans seeing their years of dominance crumble before their very eyes - the debt, the ageing squad, the reliance on Rooney etc will transmit across to the Team on the pitch.

They finished a huge 18 pts clear of us last season.

If I was really clever I would think of an answer to this but I cant. Wio and Hargreaves were injured most of the season as well. I just think we will finish above them.

Yes ! and we have got to start believing that we will do it every season thereafter.Fuck them lot,the only way for us is up and the only way for them is down, and when their down lets get our foot on their fucking neck and stamp the life from them! sorry this post is a bit longer than a yes or a no,but there you go.

YES! And i'm hoping its gonna go right to the wire to make this the season we really have something to cheer about, new player's, the new bars and cafes that are going to be built. Rewards for being the loyalist hardiest fans ever... Amen!

Yes,..This year, I really think we will. Id love to rub their shitty red noses in it.
Come on you super blues.

No idea whether we'll finish above them. Too many variables to predict that. I reckon we'll be right up there though, and that'll do me just fine for now.
