Are we going to win the league?

I've been saying for weeks now that they're due an absolute battering... i still kind of think they are, they're getting outplayed a lot by lesser teams, but they are fucking ruthless when it comes to taking chances and doing what's necessary. Sadly, this might be the slight edge they have this year.

Saying that, we know how good we are, and are more than capable of stringing 5 back to back wins to put the pressure back on.... Lets up the tempo, whip some balls in, start shooting more and keep believing!!

Yes i think we'll still win it.

Their pitch is going to cost them at some point in their home games, and they are so vulnerable to even the weakest teams that they'll have a run were the draw acouple and lose one one the bounce.

It's our defense that will eventually win it for us, i'm certain of it.

Just lets take our chances and it'll all come good.

As i said earlier in this post, this weekend is now crucial. If they go ten points clear and we don't beat the dippers, which is a big possibility,it is over as far as i am concerned.Nine or ten point ahaead, they will never let that slip, not in a million years.

The other side of the coin is they lose at Fulham, where thay have had some iffy results in the past,we beat the dippers and it is game on.Big weekend.

I think if we let the gap grow any bigger it will be very hard. But if we beat them in the Derby we have a great chance. It will probably come down to that match. Lose it and we will probably be goosed.

I think they will probably have a 4-5 point max lead before the derby-hopefully less. A win for us and I think its ours.
After last season its foolish to be writing our chances off.

If we were 7 points in front would you be so confident to say we had it in the bag. I wouldn't

Good point, Hamann. I'd be nervous too and the rag fans won't be forgetting last year in a hurry.

I'm worried about the lost points v QPR as games will soon start to run out. We're still right in there with a fighting chance though. Onward and upward.

Still not happy at dropping points against QPR, but we still have a slight chance. However, we need to start playing to our maximum and the strikers need to start firing, otherwise, results like the one at Loftus Road will repeat themselves. United have been dominated and been leaky so many times this season, got away with it so far, but surely it must start costing them at some point.

I don't think we can count on united chocking the title away again. If they do it they are going to have to win it and pretty much not drop any more points this season. Tall order particularly the way they have played. If we drop points against Liverpool, Everton or Tot then it's over. United aren't going to lose 5 more games so we have to win just about every one. That's the only way to really put enough pressure on them to hop they might drop points. I thought we had a great shot when we made up those 2 points. That was the shot to really ratchet up the pressure on them. Then we drew with QPR and we lost all that momentum and any pressure they felt is gone.

Almost forgot. I do feel real confident about the FA cup though. I'll be satisfied with an FA cup win and finishing 2nd.
