I disagree, you say Fernandhino is being exposed, then follow up with replacing (rotating) him with someone else, wouldn't they be just as exposed, and surely putting a player there who is out of position just makes it worse ?The high back line is a difficult skill to master for any team regardless of who plays, Fern is being exposed a lot this season, we need back up for him, I would rotate John Stones in that role and rest Fern a bit more..
Agreed.The midfield is the issue.
He’s exposed because he’s lost a yard of pace and playing a lot of games, I also don’t think Stones would be out of position in the sense that he’s perfectly capable of playing there and in time I think that will become his position, he’s wasted as a CB for me ...I disagree, you say Fernandhino is being exposed, then follow up with replacing (rotating) him with someone else, wouldn't they be just as exposed, and surely putting a player there who is out of position just makes it worse ?
We’re no where good enough defensively. Fernandinho is done at this level, Kompany can’t be anywhere near the XI come the latter stages either. I’m not sure I trust any of Walker, Stones, Otamendi or Mendy against the elite

To some extent but I'd say defensively last season we looked really good despite piling players forward most of the time so it can be done. So far this season we have looked less secure defensively not as bad as Pep's first season but certainly nowhere near as good as last season imo. I'm sure fern being another year older isn't helping but I also don't think the individuals playing at CB have generally hit the form they did last season yet.The way we play we will always be open at the back the solution is to put more of our chances away
