I think Cavani would be a nice option depending on the price and if he's ok with being somewhat of a squad player. I haven't watched too many PSG games but I think he held his own playing out wide.

Seeing as we have Aguero, getting a player who can play other positions as well as striker is what we'd require. Cavani is not that.

Trust your opinion. He was the best I could come up with as far as possibly being cheap, experienced, willing to take a diminished role and a bonus to the window etc..

Any specific players that you'd have in mind? Genuinely curious what you think if you could grab somebody.

Kelechi has afcon next year. Sergio has copa america 2016 so will need resting at beginnng of season. If bony goes, we need a replacement. I would go for cavani. Good enough to step into sergios shoes, but at a point where he would take a diminished role to play for pep.

I was under the impression Cavani is another Dzeko, something few here would want and rarely works well with how we play.

Worth remembering that Thierry Ambrose is about to turn 19 and will be fit again soon ...

Wilf bony to stay and fight for his place imo. He is capable to play in a few games , and a striker doesn't seem to be the main priority. We can then look for another in a couple summers.
