Are we over rated?

We have a top-quality first XI which can compete with anyone in the world.

We have good squad depth in most positions, with 4 quality strikers, 4 quality advanced midfielders and wingers, and enough depth at full back (seriously, who do Barca and Bayern have as back up full backs? Are they better than ours? If they are it is marginal)

Our main problem is an astronomical lack of depth in the two key areas: central midfield and centre-back.

We have 1 quality CB in VK and 2 quality CMs in Ferna and Yaya.

This is embarrassing compared to Real Madrid, Bayern and Barca. Can you imagine Rodwell and Garcia being back-up for any of those?

We are lucky enough to have the shell of a team who will win the Champions League over the next 3 or 4 years.

Add 1 elite level CB such as Ramos or Mangala and watch Nastasic develop into an elite level CB next season.

Add 2 elite level central midfielders such as Pogba and Fernando and we have a squad capable of winning a vast amount of silverware.

Look at this as a matchday squad:

Hart, Pants: 2 players

3 of Kolarov, Clichy, Richards and Zab: 3 players

Kompany, Mangala and Nastasic: 3 players

Yaya, Ferna, Pogba, Fernando: 4 players

3 of Silva, Nasri, Milner, Navas: 3 players

3 of Aguero, Dzeko, Negredo, Jovetic: 3 players

Total - 18 quality players with three not selected/ injured/ suspended. The remaining 4 (to make up the 25) can be hungry young talent such as Lopes.

How much will this cost?

Sell Garcia and Rodwell = £18m
Sell Demi and Lescott = £2m

Income = £20

Sign Mangala = £30m
Sign Fernando (who I hear has a cheap clause in his contract?!) = £10m
Sign Pogba (or alternative cheaper elite young talent) = £30m

Outgoings = £70m

Total = £50m expenditure.

For £50m we will then have an outstanding squad capable of winning everything. A squad which can be slowly improved and augmented by talented young footballers: selling Milner and Clichy and signing Shaw and Barkley, for example.

Thankfully, I should think Sorriano and Txiki understand this, and aren't flapping on Bluemoon!

Fuck me, won a game have we.

Bless, I'll let you keep guessing who I support because your first attempt failed miserably.

True, "won a game this year" would be more accurate.

Some Mancs think the red scousers are nice because they hate the scum. Personally I think you're all a bunch of overdramatic whinging fucks who killed working class football and courted foreign support like a slag waving it around in a miniskirt and subsequently brought on the commercialism that has ultimately wrecked the two bit idea that call a club after winning the Pools whilst still looking down on City like the investment that you forced upon us to compete is morally reprehensible in the most hypocritical use of PR since the Iraqi Communications Minister.

Above this, you seem to have an owner that is so arsed about financial regulation that they have previously said that they would sell your club if it doesn't meet their exacting standards of fair play that allowed you're previous owners to dominate English football thus remain popular in the world of football that now provides you undeserved and unearned revenues like these things just randomly happened out of the blue and were absolutely nothing to do with investment.

Mainly though, I hate you people not because you're delusional to the point illness, but because the vast majority of you are sycophantic cunts who have confused finishing 5th and 6th in the best league in the world with being "hard times" as a club, with the same arrogance that you deride other clubs for, like any of you could possibly understand what the challenges of relegation present.

Everton have always been cunts to City and I take this in the context of two clubs having competing goals. Their fans were kind of in our corner pre-takeover and there's some of them that think that post-takeover that there's some of us who suffered and if it couldn't be them then we've experienced that lottery winner goal

Nobody respects your bullshit club though. You're the Manchester United of the 80s and invented commercialism but now want our support because you were beaten at your own game? How about you go and fuck yourselves? You decry the influence of Sheikh Mansour 30 years after inventing the circumstances that led to his investment. You are at fault for your own failures in a management context and are at fault in a historical context.

Personally, I hope you get relegated you bunch of self important cunts. Fuck you.

a bit harsh , i find most everton supporters well balanced , they have a chip on both shoulders

I'm sort of with you but have some adjustments:

Sell Richards: £15m

Sell Demichelis: £5m

Sell Garcia: £15m

Sell Rodwell: £10m

Sell Dzeko: £25m

Sign Messi: £120m

Sign Lahm: £30m

Sign Hummels: £20m

Sign Lopes: £0

Sign Rekik: £0

I think if Txiki is smart enough to follow my advice on the values of players, we'd definitely win the Champions League next year. If yet again he doesn't listen to the fans and makes stupid decisions than we'll be destined for the mediocrity of 3rd place and maybe if he gets things really wrong then he could put us in the heinous and sackable offence of fourth spot, the Spanish ****. We should bring in somebody more competent at DoF who doesn't appoint his mates like Damien Comoli (who the latest Football Manager assures me is really good), ot the scout behind all of Arsenal's success, David Dein.

I don't know what to say after all that. Damocles has it covered anyhow.

No we aren't. We have 14-16 great individuals but after that yes, we are pretty overrated.

I hate Juve with all my nuts, but there is no chance he hell they sell him for 30. None.

Secondly, if he ever leaves Juve (and he will) it'll be to PSG for 40-50 easily. The French factor boosts his price enormously.

I really don't understand all this venom that's coming out from a lot of fans.
