bloody hell grow a pair. we are still in all competitions, who knows we might win the champions league. theres loads of games left and your writing us off winning anything already ...

Loads of games left, maybe, but loads of key players repeatedly injured and other players just turning up for the money because they know that Pep will ship them out early days.

It's unlikely that we will win any silverware this season.

Obviously the League Cup is the best chance but the way MP sets us up is perfect for Liverpool. But for 2 moments of individual brilliance we wouldn't have won the last one and it will take something similar this time.

We won't win the CL.
I always thought the league would be difficult as the injuries would always catch up with us.
The Carling Cup is a good opportunity. One off game v Liverpool. We know exactly how they'll play, so it's just up to the manager to pick the team to beat them, as long as we don't pick up any more injuries.
The FA Cup is a non starter as the FA have ensured that we'll play a weakened team v Chelsea, and that's their only chance of silver ware.

50:50 with Liverpool. They're pretty useless at times too. Said it for a while though, if we were offered the league cup & top 4 I'd take it, if United find a run of form I'd suggest we're looking the most likely to miss out on top 4 currently (maybe Arsenal but Sanchez returning will help).

Pelle getting alot of stick for the result today and I agree, he's lost the plot and never seems to have a plan B....but......you can fix this by changing the manager (which we are doing) but that doesnt change the fact that some of these players shouldnt even be starting in this squad....little effort, no fight, no leaders, lack of pace...the list goes on and on.....Even tho we spent big in the summer, many of us knew it will be for nothing if we dont improve at least the CM,LB,RB positions....and its these positions that have let us down week, after week....."If" we dont win any silverware this year it will be because of the manager, management not clearing out players past their best and who no longer have passion for the fight and the business we did or didnt do in transfer window last summer...cant wait for Pep and some fresh ideas on formation and squad members

Yes.We'll beat liverpool comfortably at wembley and we'll 'scrape' the league.
We've just been handed our arse to us off Leicester but we've been here before after the Liverpool game haven't we.
Pellegrinis set up and tactics ensure we win a high percentage of our games but every now and then we become 'lethargic' and get a good hiding.
Yaya has to be dropped after today.His heads already in Milan.
We move on without him.No more passengers.

I've had the same opinion since about November, we'll win nothing with this manager in charge.

Can't see us beating any of the top 4/5 for the rest of the season, we'll struggle for 4th at this rate. we'll play the kids at Chelsea and go out of the Fa Cup. I expect us to overcome Kiev but get smashed in the next round when we come up against quality opposition. That leaves the only realistic chance we've got imo is the capital one cup but that's going to take somebody coming up with a moment of genius or probably a couple given our defence. Who've we got left to do that? KDB injured, Silva is not himself and can't operate without movement, Yaya may as well already be in China, That leaves Kun, all Liverpool have to do is play at a high tempo man mark Kun and they'll walk it.
