Are You Doing Anything To Protest About The Latest Season Ticket Price Increase?

Once you accept that the "club" could not give the slightest shit about the fans, its decisions begin to make sense.

This whole thread comes across as synthetic rage. This would no doubt have been posted even if the prices had gone up by 1% or even if they had been frozen.

if you don't agree with the ticket prices don't fucking buy a ticket its fucking simple , weve just witnessed the best team weve ever seen and people will find something to whinge about

as for protesting ticket increases by 3% fuck off.
Sorry the standard of football is irrelevant. There is no justification to put up the prices one penny. Football is drowning in money.
We are a club right ? A few year ago they pushed....#together.
We run for you. We score for you etc,etc
I.e doing for us.
It doesn't feel #together right now. Sorry we disagree but there you are.

And the club's cheerleaders would still be wheeling out the same justifications if the prices had gone up even more.

No! If the prices had been frozen, I certainly wouldn't have complained. That is the truth. I certainly didn't expect a price reduction either.

Even though there are cheaper season tickets, I'm happy to pay more for where I stand, as it is in the singing section.

And when the £299 season tickets were introduced by the club, I never complained once, even though other City fans pay 50% less than I do for a season ticket. 2 of my mates do.

It was a great move and gesture by the club. Hopefully, if and when the NS is expanded, the club will offer 1000's of £299 season tickets, instead of 100's currently.

It is all about perspective. I was a child in the 50’s for my first games and started seriously following them in the early 60’s, sneaking in when they opened the gates 20 minutes before the end. I was there for Les McDowell’s last game in charge, turgid stuff.
I started watching City at the tail end of the Les McDowall era. Turgid is not the expression I would use. Chaotic, unpredictable. at times exciting, and at other times dire, but never turgid.

My first match was a 3-0 defeat by Blackpool and that was certainly dire. The next, a week later, was against the erstwhile double winning Spurs team and City won 1-0 thanks to a goal by Alex Harley. Four days later, United were at Maine Road in what was seen as a relegation decider. City led through an Alex Harley goal until Quixall equalised with a dubious penalty. That was Les McDowall's last home match in change and was certainly not turgid.

If you look at the pricing plan, you can see that the back half of South level 3 is £310. That must be around 3,000 seats.

I was always under the impression that the then £299 seats were limited in the 100's, and not in the 1000's. .

TBH I don't look at the season ticket seat planner. I always renew my seat in SS, Block 115.

The season ticket prices are precisely why many fans buy a season card and then don't attend every game resulting in thousands of empty seats.

Those that are moaning are a bunch of ungrateful b*stards. The truth is if you don't like it don't renew. Your place will very easily be filled.
