Are You Doing Anything To Protest About The Latest Season Ticket Price Increase?

To answer the OP question the answer is no. FFS we’ve never had it so good. The price we pay is less than many other less successful clubs so we should consider ourselves lucky. Some people want to pay for sports direct whilst wearing Nike.

If every City fan did what you do Cleavers, out matchday revenues would be £0. Lol!

But good on you for biting the bullet and not being tempted.

Unfortunately I've got a Beer craving, even at £4.40 a pint.

However, I draw the line at £2.10 for a bottle of water.

Come to Costco, City! You can get 40x500ml bottles of water for just over £4 a case

That was just to show you lot how much a bottle of water really is at wholesale prices.

And don't forget, Costco put their markup on that as well.
Turn it fucking in. Like walking in a pub and asking what mark up they make on a bottle of coke. If you don't like the price, fuck off to Aldi and bulk buy your coke/beer/water. We'll pay over the odds and enjoy having it served to us.

Boycott?

Is that the same as City fans deciding to drop the cup games because they can't afford them, as well as a PL season ticket or PL match tickets?
Is that the same as City fans deciding to pick and chose PL matches because they can't get a season ticket, and can't afford to go to every PL match?
Is that the same as City fans who moved to the £299 seats, because the cost of their previous seat had become too expensive?

Shirley, you've got to be joking?
Yep, it'll be the same City that will top the one MILLION mark for attendees this Sunday, at an average of over 53k, our best ever average attendance. Ever. Yep, we're strugglin' alright. You and Prestwich Blue, go and have a lie down (in Platt Lane, where everything is free and the world doesn't reflect reality). Leave watching City at the Etihad to the fans. The ones who know a good thing when they see it.

Not joking I'm just being cynical me.
The rag tabloids will be looking to piss on our chips this weekend and we all know they lurk on here.

Maybe they might then learn something ?

You started this thread asking about "protest". Well I'm not protesting about a minor increase, because I spend pretty much zero apart from my tickets, why ? Because I value my money, and spend it effectively, I moved from 212 when the SS3 was built, as I knew they would price me out of 212, 4 of us scattered around other expensive areas, all got seats together, we now have a far better view for (still) £200 less than we were paying that previous season, 4 of us sit together, and if one of us can't go, we can easily move a ticket on in our own group of friends, and for most games its a good atmosphere, not far from the away fans.

Loving it, and I have absolutely no reason to "protest", but I'm not held hostage to City by paying through the nose for shite, I actually pay a reasonable price for the best football in the world right now, and I made my own choices to do that.

I pay full price for the Beer at City and in the pubs, regardless of the pub.

I go to a newsagent and pay 60p for a bottle of water, not £2.10,

There are markups, and there are markups.

Turn it in.

Fair play to you that man.

And as you say it's about choice.

Like you I have now made a choice.

I'll renew my season ticket and stay in the CL cup scheme.
