Are You Doing Anything To Protest About The Latest Season Ticket Price Increase?

Not joking I'm just being cynical me.
The rag tabloids will be looking to piss on our chips this weekend and we all know they lurk on here.

Not after their latest defeat.

It will be heads down and cutting the grass this Sunday for them. :-)

I pay full price for the Beer at City and in the pubs, regardless of the pub.

I go to a newsagent and pay 60p for a bottle of water, not £2.10,

There are markups, and there are markups.

Turn it in.
I could make my own sandwiches every time I go to the cinema. I don't. I prefer to sit back, enjoy the film and pay £7 for a butty and a biscuit. I went to West Ham last week, had a few beers in the Radisson St. Pancras. £7 a pint. Could have walked round the corner and got tinnies for two quid a pop. I didn't. The Radisson was lovely. The Etihad is lovely. Stop bleating and fucking enjoy being entertained. And if you want bottled water, buy it. If not, don't.

Yep, it'll be the same City that will top the one MILLION mark for attendees this Sunday, at an average of over 53k, our best ever average attendance. Ever. Yep, we're strugglin' alright. You and Prestwich Blue, go and have a lie down (in Platt Lane, where everything is free and the world doesn't reflect reality). Leave watching City at the Etihad to the fans. The ones who know a good thing when they see it.

Only me and Prestwich? Last Man standing!

Like you I knew a good thing when I saw it for 34 years, even though we won f*** all. 43 years, actually. I was 7 when I went to my first City match. Like you I stuck by the club for 34 shit years. And yes, I did go to York away. Like you I'm allowed 11 years of City success and counting. Like you and every other City fan we deserve it. Like you I'm entitled to my views and opinions. Like you I'm free to do what I want. Like you I will be there on Sunday. Sorry.

BTW. What is a Etihad fan? Could I be one like you? No you can't, jrb, you moaning ungrateful b*****d!

I've already said I don't buy the water.

I did once, but decided not to pay £2.10 again.

Off topic.

I went to the Alchamist in Didsbury once.

They charged me £5.80 for a bottle of Proper Job Pale Ale.

I can get 4 bottles of Proper Job Pale Ale at Tescos for £6.

I've never been back to the Alhamist since.

I'm not a tight b*****d believe me, but like most people I don't like getting ripped off.

Going back to City. £4.40 for a pint of beer is a fair price, and is the going rate.

City get my money every home match.

The queues are a bit long, and the service is a bit slow, but I've got used to that.

I can grow my own spuds for 5p a pound. Then deep fat fry them for 7p a pound. Or, as I prefer to do, I go to the chippy and pay £2.40 for "large chips". But I don't then go cribbing and telling everyone how dear the chips are. If you think City is a rip-off stop going. If the ground ends up deserted we'll know they got the economics wrong. If it's filled, we'll know they got it right. Just a hunch, I reckon the place'll be rammed next season. And the bottled water will be very expensive.

Is it f**k, not for a pint of shite, "protest" by not paying it (nor the over priced shite food).

The Heineken is OK. It is what it is.

It's the plastic pint pots I don't like.

Beer always taste better in glass pint pots.

I usually do the Piccadilly Tap, just outside Piccadilly Train Station. The Beer is a bit more expensive, but it's decent. Try it, if you haven't yet.

Might venture into the NQ after the match on Sunday. Some good boozers and Beer there.

Did I say City was a rip off as a whole? No I didn't.

I highlighted the price of a bottle of water. As 1 example.

I said the Beer at £4.40 was the going rate.

I will pay £685 for my season ticket next season. That isn't cheap, cheap. I've never complained about other City fans getting the £299 season tickets or Value Gold season tickets. Good luck to them.

I once grew my own spuds, but by the time I harvested them, threw away the shite one's, it really wasn't worth my time or effort, so I went back to buying them from my local Supermarket instead.

I've already said the Etihad will be rammed next season, regardless of the visible empty seats. Pep factor!

Let's hope in 2 or 3 years time after Pep has extended his contract and then left, the next Manager is a clone of Pep, otherwise if results and trophies tail off, and season ticket and matchday tickets prices keep on going up, the Etihad won't be rammed. Trust me.

Only the diehards like you and me will bother turning up. And there's not enough of us to fill a 54,000 capacity Etihad.

Yes, both, far better, then a 25 minute walk to the stadium.

Unfortunately I normally come in the other way to the Etihad.

Getting in early doors on Sunday via the train from Stockport.

Helping with the 1894 display. City have got another display planned. Ssssh.

Will pop into the Piccadilly Tavern for a quick one.

On Holiday next Week, so I'll venture into the NQ after the match.
