Have City played at 82 league grounds over the past 40 years? I suppose that is possible if you include all cup games and a few friendlies but that would mean going to all those lovely grounds we played at in the old third division.
That's why I asked the question of which ones he hasn't been too. I'm still waiting for his reply. I guess it takes time to research the archives, even with Google as a friend.

What I can't understand is that if, and let's give the numpty the benefit of doubt, if he's been to 82 stadiums following City, how the heck hasn't he met anyone that posts on here? For such an avid follower for 40 years and 82 stadiums he must know someone on here? Oh and does he have some loyalty points that I could use to get a free Balti pie?

I bet his phone number is 01604 755700

I've seen us on 92 English League grounds (plus Wembley and Millennium Stadium) over the past 40 years, so yes.

I'm just surprised this guy doesn't understand the concept of "local rivalry" if he's such a big blue.

I totally get the concept. Without going through the whole rigmarole again, when we want to annihilate "them" it's the choice of weapon I question. I alluded to it earlier - age may have mellowed me - I used to fervently cling to anything we could use but now, I think we should let our superiority on the pitch say it all. We'll have to agree to disagree. As is often the case on a forum. Would be a dull place were it all gettin' on dandy and no room for debate.

As for knowing folk, I probably do know some on here - my main companions on away days were lads from The Parkside. None of whom now go away so regularly. Some "canned" it altogether when we moved; some do just home games.
