Armani acquitted of all charges (update p21)

For those of you who get the MEN there's an article about Armani on P34. Hoping plenty of you will consider donating something on the paypal link previously posted so we can get Armani over here at the back end of this season to see some games and to talk about his awful experience over the last nine months.

That just says 'donate' but doesn't say what you're donating for.

thats the donate button we have always used for sierra leone and Armani from way back
some have already donated through it yesterday and today it goes into a paypal account in my name and I pass it onto to Tony and Howard from the Reddish Branch who then either send it to Armani with instructions for use - i.e. legal fees - or for the team - or when we were collecting for the bus and kits - in this instance the money will be used to get Armani to the UK for the end of the season - as usual there will be no hotels or anything he will stay in members houses -

Ok, fair enough mate. I will donate now.

Met Armani a few years ago at West Ham away when Tony first had him over to the UK. Really nice young fella who spoke enthusiastically about City. Have donated something which I hope helps get him over again. So glad it has all been dropped against him. Must have been a nightmare. Keep up the good work boys.

Just seen some kid here in Sunny Beach Bulgaria with a snide Stretford Rangers top and Armarni tattoed on his leg I had to ask him where he was from....Romford Essex haha was the reply. Ucnmiup.

This person has a Wikipedia page. Anyone have the skills to place a link to this thread on there?

His accuser was on 5 live singing the praises of Sepp Blatter the other day, say's a lot really. Hope she gets her come uppance one day.

I bet you could hear the rustling of the paper envelope she had stuck up her stinking corrupt minge.
I read his issues and feel a right twat for feeling stressed i am having to move to a nice new detached house. Reminding myself of the plight of his country in general gives me a lot of perspective and winds my neck in.

Just seen her being interviewed on SSN, how has this story not been brought to light yet?

How can someone like her be interviewed by a major British broadcaster and be posed questions about FIFA's presidency? How can she be held up as this positive progressive role model for FIFA simply by virtue of being a (well-spoken) woman?

Makes me feel ill.

Is there anything we can do to get this story out there, anyone with any contacts in the media?

I'm thinking of writing to Sky, if a number of us did we might get some traction.

People like that need bringing down. Made me feel sick to the pit of my stomach watching that interview earlier.

She's just been on a report on BBC breakfast, I didn't hear the full story (something about being a female FA president) but I think it was a preview for a more in depth report that is yet to be aired.
