Re: Armani - Sierra Leone & Donations Link (merged)

Has anybody contacted Umbro as it was there kit that was sent they are still owned by Nike and would be good PR for Nike to help a blue with the shirt release only a few days away.

not that I am aware of - and if one of the guys had I would know
what we did do was send the shipping manifest over and video evidence of the container being loaded etc

nij, I know this is probably teaching my grandmother to suck eggs, (for which I apologise in advance), but it was photocopies of the shipping manifest etc. wasn't it? In a corrupt country who knows what could happen to evidence.

No mate it was electronic copies sent by the shipping company with container seal numbers - we also provided the import tax list from SL which proves we imported it there

Re: Armani - Sierra Leone & Donations Link (merged)

Looking at most footwear there's always some sort of batch number to say when and where the footwear was made. Umbro will most certainly have a copy of the batches sent out so if they can link the reported stolen boots with the manifest that Umbro have then the evidence will speak for itself.

Good look to Armani, he seems a very decent character.

Great, sorry to be questioning you, but we want everything to be sorted out for Armani without the SL investigators saying they've lost the documents. Hope you didn't take offence?

both these groups ie the gov and the prisoners abroad are used to providing help and guidance might be worth a punt in contacting them

if the guy is not a UK citizen suggest contacting his own consular office over there

He's from Sierre Leone. The same government that runs the court he is being tried in is supposed to be the one that protects him in the way you have suggested.
