In Germany members of the German forces used to get in at half price.
 
Went to New York a year or two ago and noticed that service personnel could get reduced admission to the Empire State Building and if they turned up in uniform they got in for nowt.

I think I ought to get a reduction in the shop for my stint in the Zulu Wars.
 
Left the R.A.F years ago but used to travel all over the place seeing City. My gf back in Manchester took a while to work out I only came home for home games,, cue ex-gf! Got home on leave from Germany and went back when I found out that CIty were playing in Holland Pre-season. In 80s had all sorts of problems getting back to camp, had to explain to the police that yes I wanted to travel in the opposite direction to all the City Fans. There were about 20-30 of us who used to meet up on the way to games, not easy pre-mobile or internet. I also had to extend my leave when we drew with the Spuds in cup final (I had a very understanding boss)
 
I think anyone that served in the Army should get to spend the night with Natalie Pike, fuck the free tickets I'll pay for them in exchange for Nat! Now where is my Certificate of Discharge....
 
my uncle was in royal duke of edinburgh, for 20 od years had to leave as he got caught in a bomb explosion in iraq. fine now tho :)

went to solihull hospital to visit him n they had a special soldier ward for injured soldiers from iraq. wasnt that much of a nice experience.
