January would be bad.

More chance of disruption than improvement

totally agree - Rodney Marsh over again. If Jesus and Aguero are not injured in jan we don't need him. too risky - if we are playing 1 upfront most games - we will have a couple of sulkers on the bench and that may start upsetting the great team spirit

Good job we only had two strikers when we won the title:
Aguero, Dzeko, Mario (when not suspended) and Tevez (when not playing golf) in 2012 and Aguero, Negredo, Dzeko and Jovetic (when fit) in 2014.
We need that extra striker though I'll admit others seem to be contributing more in terms of goals: Raz, Sane, KDB and Spanish Dave (in recent games).
If we beat Leicester next week we've got another couple of games in January. We need to strengthen in central defence and attack.

We need a winger though.

Rodney Marsh I imagine (from what my dad told me about him) was a completely different scenario..... we never played the football best suited for Marsh and tried changing his game.... Sanchez however is well suited for our game.
