The 1980's called, wanting to know if they could have their Spurs chairman back.
It's not actually the 1980s Jim, it's just some scousers on a stolen phone trying to recreate the conditions of their success.

Rather enjoy watching AFTV, and not simply for the schadenfreude.
I wonder if DT's goggles block the entire light spectrum so he can wear them during games?

That's because realistically you weren't a big club then. Only Liverpool, Utd and a few others were considered big clubs. It's only now you're looking at being a big club. Of course you weren't gonna expect to win anything. Do Villa fans expect to win the premier league every other season?

If your team completely fell off the chase in 5 years then you'd be annoyed after the progress you made.

Difference is that we would still turn up and watch our team, as we did when we didn't have a pot to piss in.
After watching us when we were in the lower divisions what's happening now is just reward for the loyalty most of the fans showed.
If things went tits up I would be disappointed but not to the extent that I would turn against my team and I'm sure 99.9% of our fans would be the same.
Supporting a team means you get the highs and the lows, unless you are only interested in following a winning team.

I almost felt bad seeing what a sad figure he cuts these days, even more so with the compounded misery of being completely shit, being given a penalty which is then saved and being outclassed so completely and utterly there’s nowhere to turn.
But then I remember his vile bile spewed about us recently and more important that letter and who’s headed paper it was sent on and how bitter both he and his club are when it comes to us and our success.

Fuck him and fuck Arsenal, the future is now and boy is it blue.

I have zero sympathy for Wenger, he brought this fate upon himself. If he genuinely cared for the club he should of walked out years ago. Baffling how some Arsenal fans can still support this deluded fcker.

Despite the scoreline, I thought they were much better last night.

Even though I cannot stand Wenger, I still find Arsenal the least deplorable of our other four ‘rivals’.

But I am somewhat surprised they spent so much money on Aubameyang. He’s 29 this year and relies a great deal on his physical attributes from what I’ve seen.

Sure they do. It's quite a common nickname for a lot of fans when referring to Arsenal. The female variety are Jemimas.
And their kids are Ruperts and Penelope's.
