Arsenal (A) | Community Shield | Post-match Thread

Unlucky but those penalties need some practice. It's not a new thing. We have been shite at them for a while

Looked the better team. Phil really should have sealed it for us. Never mind, it means f all. We lost last season and won the treble. Where the fuck did 8 minutes come from though - even with the new rules.
I keep thinking back on Phil’s missed goal in Chumps League final and if one of Inter’s efforts towards the end went it the treble…

Then I wake up in a cold sweat and phew relax.

This fucking sucks. Just like Chelsea with the champions league in 2021 we’ve given arsenal fans something to live off. They’re gonna be even more unbearable than they were before.

The way we presented ourselves in this penalty shootout was a disgrace. Seriously.
FFS calm down, it's a glorified friendly, not the Champions League.

Haha arsenal better be thanking us. We made it possible for them to even play this competition let alone win.

Only question I have is where the hell did they get 8 minutes extra time from? Even under the new rules that's a hell of a stretch.

Not arsed, but I would like to know how they got 8 minutes of injury time, 6 subs, 1 goal and 2 minutes at most for an injury to Odegard, just going to be another farce of an excuse this season
