Did worry once they got a jammy deflection where our five good penalty takers would come from! No idea where eight mins of added time came from. Anyway off we go for another great season.

FFS. Oh well. Feel for the fans that went. I'm slightly pissed off. Unlucky with the deflection at the end and surprised that both Kevin and Rodders had poor penalties. Mostly I just dislike how unlikeable their fans have become. So it's not a good result. I think we were better with Phil and Kevin on the pitch, we could have done with their luck in front of goal.

Didn't think I'd see anybody celebrate the fucking community shield more than liverpool fans last season but arsenal have just blown them out of the water. When Leicester won it a few years back, they had no right to even expect to be there and you can say fair enough if they went wild with celebrations but even they knew what it was and treated it as such. Their over the top reactions are made even more embarrassing by the fact they only played in it through invitation.

Whilst I don't give a shit about the game, I must admit the thought had dawned on me that we could have won this, the super cup, club world cup and the league cup by feb/March and got a team photo with all 7 trophies that would have been special to see but 6 will do.

We were a lot better this season than last bearing in mind we were two weeks behind Arsenal fitness wise.

If this 8 minutes + added time is going to be every game, we need to find a way to manage that.

Like others have said the stoppage for the head injuries did us no favours whatsoever.
