Well technically we won the title and the FA Cup, and the Community Shield is handed to one of those teams usually.

Agreed, Foden really needs to work on his finishing. He tried to place it between the keepers legs. Aim for the corner

We beat the Dippers in a charity shield shoot out and lost Sane for the season. I know what I would have preferred
 
just a pre season game. I was pleasantly surprised by our fitness levels given our lack of pre season. I thought the starting line up kept the ball well but was a bit boring for my liking. Foden and De Bruyne changed that when they came on.
I think it will be a break through year for Palmer
 
Played a lot better than I expected to be honest considering we finished 2 weeks later and have played less games since coming back. We’ve had some really ropey performances in this but that wasn’t one of them even if we weren’t at our best. Hopefully the shield curse will carry on another year now!
 
Well the new added on mins has paid dividends already for a the losing teams you look at all the games thats been played over the weekend they have been so many late late goals because of the added time change!

When are we going to be 1 down and pushing for a late goal in added time!!? So another rule brought in to benefit the shit teams!
 
I’m not usually arsed about the CS but conceding in the last minute always stings. Add Arsenal’s OTT celebrations and it certainly creates extra motivation for the team.

Whilst a disappointment right now, a defeat in this manner just reminds us that we are not invincible with some big games coming up.

Hopefully we can add the Club Word Cup and European Super Cup to our cabinet.

We have not replaced 2 big players who scored goals. That’s my worry.

We don’t look ready for the season & we can’t afford to give the others too much

We are not stronger than last season we are weaker esp on the goal front but after a treble it’s what I expected.

Transitional season in my opinion
 
The WORST City end atmosphere I’ve ever been to and I’ve been going since 1995!
The boycott worked! Wish we had joined it we left at half time it was that bad! Where did City shift all those tickets?

How was Kovacic bad in that game?

Maybe focus on Grealish and Haaland. Why would you even want Kovacic to be bad? Even if you don’t like him, you surely want him to succeed and help us win trophies.
