the team collectively collapsed. since their second goal. we dont have enough technical players to paly control game and we don't have fast players to play physical game. the team were built on tactic planning and execution. if the execution is not there it falls apart. I think the key player didn't execute the plan well was Silva. we need his coverage but he was no where to be seen. Ortega had a bad game too, as well as Akanji. Foden was less the reason of defeat.

I’m not sure where to start, but I’ll have a go. Shocking start, Akanji and Stones complete fuck up after a minute. We didn’t learn and Ortega gave them an identical chance which Havertz missed. We were all over the place and due to Arsenal’s wastefulness we started to get into the game and only for Raya would have remarkably gone in level at HT.

We worked hard to equalise and we deserved to as we were the better team at the time. However the same old frailties reared their heads. We conced again within 68 seconds, due to Foden (again) giving the ball away on the edge of our box. The game is over from then as the team collectively disintegrates. Weak mentality, weak, passive play.

Arsenal happy to let us have the ball and to be honest, MOST teams are happy for us to have the ball as we don’t do much with it and eventually lose it or over play it and they can hurt us on the counter. Same old, same old. We haven’t addressed this and it started last season. We’ve sleep walked into this situation and I’m not sure how we get out of this nightmare. Needs to be a huge change in tactics. Attack with pace, get defenders to defend properly; as Fabian once said “back to basics”. Absolute disgraceful display today.
