Arsenal (A) Post Match Thread

Great game, what an easy win that. Never thought it would be that easy. Win against Chelsea and then the fixture congestion ends.

Who did they play in a cup final? Oh wait a minute it was us.

Did we ,must have missed that. Why do you have to respond like this?

I was suggesting had we played anyone else BUT Arsenal we may have struggled as both sides we low on energy and apart from the fantastic goals we misplaced a lot of passes.

In the first half we played some fabulous football. The goals were top drawer.
Arsenal had some chances but the defence stood up to the challenge and was backed up by the no nonsense keeping of Ederson.
Second half we were a bit disjointed for about 15 minutes. The penalty award was a bit soft but justice was done when Ederson saved it. After that the match was over in reality.
Our supporters were magnificent and deserve high praise for their effort.
Arsenal, outplayed and outsung in their own backyard.
City, the best team in the land and all the World.

First of all my respect to every single Cityfan that took the time, trouble and risk to visit the game. I hope you all got home well and you all fully deserve to be treated the way our team played and won.

After Sunday it was all about how poor Arsenal was. After last night it simply continues. Hardly a mention just how good we are, even though we had a spell that we looked to invite Arsenal to score. And it was more about the half empty stadium while our away end proved it was possible to be at the game. I deeply dislike everything about the so called and now former top 4 so I was simply smiling seeing City beat Arsenal again and again 3-0, at their own backyard that was half empty with no atmosphere except our end obviously.

What a great 1st half and I simply can’t choose which one of the three goals we scored was the best. I’d go for number three as it was as best a team goal you can ever see. We are simply a joy to watch and play football the way it should be. And with quite a few players missing as well, others still young, it can and will get better. They still get another wow out of me every time I see them play. Absolutely fantastic. We will get through rougher periods no doubt. Now I just wanna enjoy every minute of what I see.

Great fans and great club and now great football to add.

Just watching George Boateng waffle his way through Premier League Daily on Sky.

He thinks 4 Arsenal players would get in the City side (not sure if he meant starting or the bench) those 4 were - Aubameyang - very doubtful, Özil - not a patch on Merlin or De Bruyne, Mkhitaryan haha, and finally, and even funnier than Mkhitaryan, Welbeck. Utter madness.

To be fair seen a few reports that said funny how city fans made it from Manchester in these conditions... they are getting ridiculed left right and centre from the spuds.

As Neville said in commentary, if they had won the cup on sunday or were chasing the title, then the ground would have been full !

Definitely the 3rd goal for me, it was a thing of beauty.
