I don’t get how some people can’t see what’s going on when the exact same thing happened last season! Sané got back in because of Mendy’s injury leading to a formation change. Sané is the only player in our squad with question marks over his attitude. So Pep’s trying to work on it by knocking him down a peg or two. He probably expected not being selected for the World Cup to do that for him, but it didn’t. So he’s taking extra measures. One day Sané will realise Pep was helping him.

Yes and flap we will whenever we don't start our best eleven away to a top 6 side. Gundog is way to slow and not inclined to over work himself either. sure he might pop for an odd goal after been anonymous for the rest of the game. Rather Foden to be honest, his work rate is good.

Your best 11 might not be my best 11. We'll just have to wait and see. Although you'll have a moan no matter what,
as that seems to be all you do.

I’m not sure Pep works like that. Rather than knock players down a peg or two I think he uses the carrot rather than the stick. He wants players to thrive on competition rather than demean them. Just my opinion

gen question. Based on training, fitness levels and likely strategy, how do you know that is not our best eleven to face the Arse today.

Jesus, moan moan fucking moan. Quite happy with that side myself.

Will be interesting to see how Bernardo and gundogan get on together rather than one or the other with Kevin or Dave.

Sane always has a slow start, pep loves sterling no matter how many fan lineups drop him to the bench before the season starts, he's obviously taking his time with debruyne as he will be playing near enough every match and Bernardo has looked excellent. Gundogan was quite good last weekend too. And stones laporte is the future, get used to it.

Lol did you not get a big enough reaction the other 10 times you have said that?

A lot of us are assessing Sané's fitness and attitude like we know that's the problem, but what if it's just tactical? Maybe Sterling blew Pep away in training?
