But the fans I’m talkikg about have generally got KDB in their starting line ups who’s had around 10 days less training than Silva.

There’s been countless examples on other threads of our “best team” and again D. Silva doesn’t get in the majority of them.

I agree that the overwhelming majority of sensible match going fans would have him in their starting line ups, but I think the more casual TV / internet / Football Manager fans tend not to appreciate how good he is and how lucky we are to have him.

Is Silva even back in training yet? I’m sure most of our fans appreciate his quality, but he might not get his first start of the year until next week.

Your teams are always pretty accurate. Given injuries/pre-season, I'd say you've more or less nailed it.

Not sure about that, I like Maitland-Niles, think he's a tidy player with a lot of potential and wouldn't be that surprised if we went for him in a year or 2 as a Delph replacement because he's similarly versatile while being technically good. He played LB a lot last season and did well.

I really can't see Pep dropping Stones after his performance in the community shield.

Foden Dinho KDB

Bernado Kun Sane


I'd have El Mago in for Foden if he is fit to start.

To be fair, City are favourites and deservedly so. Hardly an earth shattering statement from Jurgen.

Yeah - RIU have 4 hotels in the area I think. This one seems to be the 2nd best in terms of quality but the other was much more expensive. I have never been all-inclusive before - the quantity and quality of the food and drink is staggering - probably because they have to cater for the US market.

Only criticism is that the place is toooo popular - can be mobbed around the pool areas

Only reason I put Kompany in there is because of Aubameyang, Pep played Vinny in both games last season even tho they were like 3 days apart.
