That would be mine as well but I think he’ll put Gundogan back in .

I think Gundongan is better when he is playing closer to the goal where he can make some good last second passes and arrive for some shots.

But in a deeper position while he is accurate in passing just not quick enough moving it around and building quick attacks or moving quick enough when needed especially off the ball.

He is a perfect player to have when we are 1-0 up or 2-0 up vs a lower table team and we are holding onto the lead with playing safe possession football. But even against them we struggled a lot to get into early leads, many times we went into the break with 0-0 mostly because our first halfs lack intensity.

And when he is paired with Rodri that is just slows us down at an even higher rate.

We need dynamism in the middle, quick transition, picking out some great long passes and just moving quickly in general.

I am worried we wont give much of protection to the defence. Wouldnt mind a kind of 3 man defence, with Fernandinho moving in and out from defence to give a hand to Rodri in middle too. Cancelo, /Mendy provide width and attacking help.

He's garbage

Could do with knowing if he's going to start gundog and rodri together if he is don't feel like treaking half the day to watch that

ManCity travelling squad to face @Arsenal: Ederson, Carson; Walker, Cancelo, Otamendi, Garcia, Mendy, Zinchenko, Angelino; Rodri, Fernandinho, De Bruyne, Foden, Gundogan; Jesus, Bernardo, Sterling, Mahrez. David Silva and Claudio Bravo were not spotted.

Pep Guardiola on the challenge of maintaining high levels: "Maintaining 100 points or 90 points for three or four years [is difficult], I knew it. I didn’t want to think it too much in the beginning of the season but I thought we will be able to do it again..."

"When we arrived here the standard was 85 points to win that. Now you have to reach almost 100 points to win the Premier League. That is why we helped Liverpool to make this step, buy incredible top players and now it is the level you have to reach..."

"All the teams that are behind Liverpool, we know we have to make 100 points. Before it didn’t happen and we were the reason why. Maintain that and maintain that for a long, long time."

Pep Guardiola on City's position in the title race: "Eleven years no one won back to back and then we did it by winning 14 games in a row and we did it so that is why when the people say we are not good, I cannot forget what this team has done..."

"But sometimes in a process, in NBA teams, in incredible tennis players, there are problems or periods in the season when you struggle a little bit. I would say that is normal than the people can expect..."

"That is going to help us, this situation is going to help us in the future. Now as a team, as a club, it is going to help us in the future. I would've preferred that be closer to Liverpool but that is going to help us, all the club, the organisation..."

"Maybe we think after four titles in one season, maybe we believe something we are not and the reality of sport is to make you again and again and again, sometimes you have [to] live it. Unfortunately now in the position we are in..."

"We have to overcome that situation - tomorrow, next games, next games, we prove how we are and you have to evaluate if you are good enough as a manager to continue, are the players good enough to try it again next season so at the end it is so simple."

"I felt it in the first season when we took seven, eight points advantage, in the locker room there were just four or five players who had won the Premier League, the rest they didn’t won it and it was an experience to lift this trophy." #MCFC

Agree with Pep, it's too difficult to maintain the form we've shown in the past two seasons. Literally the two greatest seasons in Prem history. I'm backing us to lift again next season for Pep's swansong.

It's no excuse for the CL though. Round of 16, Quater Finals.... that's not going to cut it.

that’s completely wrong. Gundo is far better playing deep, he’s useless as and 8 but brilliant as a 6.
