Rico is phenomenal in the middle, him and Bernardo should provide the best possible screen in Rodri's absense. Grealish isn't fit enough yet to get past defenders. Kovacic and Nunes are still settling in. Not sure that Stones is ready to start, but that would be very welcome indeed.

I presume Saka must be fit again if he's been called up to the England squad?

It's going to be a tough game and a hard one to predict, Arsenal are one of the best teams in the league, and we are not really fully in top gear
Bookies seem to think so too.

Arsenal at 3.00 to win and City at 2.45.

I hope he plays, the tarquins will have no excuses when we beat them yet again, looking forward to the reaction of their

Despite the fact we're not playing great, and Rodri is an ENORMOUS loss, I am quietly confident about this. We are big game players and Arsenal are big time bottlers. What's Pep's record against Arteta - isn't it like 8-0 or something? Anyway, I think we will win. The viking has to hit a run of good form sooner or later.

I suspect Southgate picked the squad before last night's game and has no idea when Saka wll be back other than it's not too serious.

Arteta and Arsenal also won't know yet if he's going to be back in 2 days or 2 weeks, so they'll just pull him out if he's not fit by the international break.
