I hope he does well. Young players rarely play well twice in a row because they’re just so inconsistent due to their age/experience. Big day for him!
Indeed. Regardless, I won’t be irate if he doesn’t as I watch with then possibility that inconsistency is a big thing at his age. Regardless, there will be others to come on should it be needed.

I wouldn't select Lewis against Arsenal away, but otherwise, I think it's a great team.

Are you not cutting him even a little bit of slack that he was being asked to play as a holding midfielder?

It's a different world of football playing with your back to the opposition versus having everything in front of you as a traditional center-back.
Yeh, I take that……playing out of position did him no favours…..just thought he was slow and indecisive

Would have preferred Grealish in there, just because it's going to get pretty end-to-end this afternoon and he tends to shine in these big games by knowing exactly when to hold and when to go. But for all we know he might not be fully up to speed yet.

Big well done to Lewis for getting himself in the team for this, and I like the narrow and packed and scrappy midfield. Think we've come here to try and do a job on them like last time where we don't have much of the ball but try to hit on the break or win the ball back just inside their half.

Imagine our average positions will end up looking like:

Why not, I trust Pep.
I trust Pep as well. I just think Arsenal will target him, and it's an enormous pressure for an 18-year-old. Pep knows best, though, so hopefully Rico can handle it.
