How long can any club retain employees whose jobs are currently redundant as a consequence of no crowd involvement e.g ticket offices, stewards catering hospitality etc. Can’t stand Arsenal but have they made this as a informed decision based on projected dates for return of “real” match days. There has to be a breaking point when such a action has to be taken.
I fear the worse...I.e. we are not going to get back to normal match days at least this side of Christmas. The big clubs will start what Arsenal have seemingly kicked off today we all can trim our operations and remain viable but that will only apply to about 10 -15% of the professional 92 clubs in England. I fear the worst story is still the Wigan situation which will end up with tens of clubs having to reform as non professional part time clubs. What pisses me off is EPL and Fa will just watch it happen saw that with Bury and now Wigan
