Hopefully not true but Stu Brennan doesn't think Kompany will be fit for the arsenal game. My opinion is that we should go and be compact and try to hit them on the counter attack like teams do to us.

we have a squad assembled for around £350m , and we are going to Arsenal in fear of apparently getting a good hiding . We have been stuffed 4-1 on two occasions in the last few weeks , Stoke battered us and deserved at least four goals , if i was the owner of this club , i would be saying , what the f*ck i going on ? We should be going to Arsenal confident of getting a result , with KDB,Merlin,Yaya,Kun,Sterling in our team , but we are all worried about our shite defensive qualities and how many the gooners are going to score , and that is mostly down to Pellegrini and his tactics , not because our captain or other players are injured or the players are tired , good managers deal with injuries, suspensions and fatigue . We need to defend as a team , the midfielders like toure de bruyne silva and sterling have to put a shift in , aguero has to chase the ball down and the full backs need to stop crosses going in the box ,the centre backs have to defend for their lives ,if all eleven players turn up , we will beat Arsenal . no doubt , if we play half hearted and stroll around the pitch like we have for the last few weeks , we will lose.

I suppose we are going to get beat then.

Hard to feel confident. Kompany Unlikely to be back and Kun a doubt to.

We have spent nearly 80 million on 3 central defenders over the past 2 seasons and we can't trust anyone of them. The Denayer decision at the start of the season was insane.

This is the game when you can bet your bottom dollar, that as far as team selection and tactics are concerned, Pellers will be clueless.

Can't help but feel that both team are vulnerable at the back. We are not defending well - so let's take the game to them.

It's your opinion that our poor performances are down to the manager. So does that mean the form that won us the League and League Cup was down to Pellegrini, or the form that we started the season was down to Pellegrini?

Managers aren't entirely in control of everything. At the moment we have a lot of injuries and have played a lot of games and that impacts on the best teams. This weekend Barca drew 2-2 at home and at this moment Real Madrid are losing 1-0 so all teams can get a hangover from big midweek games. Look this week at Utd, Liverpool and Spurs.

We should be on an upward curve now. Silva is back. We've managed to rest KDB, and Kolarov a little bit and Sterling had a great game in Europe. Kun wont be at his best for a while, but all the players bar Nasri, touch wood are on their way back. The pressure will be on Arsenal to get a result as they are at home, and they must know that they must try to get a result whilst we are not at our best. City given a fair wind should improve providing we can handle the weight of fixtures.

The Arsenal game will not be decisive but we've done really well in a difficult period to stay in contention in all competitions.

We rode our look at home to Swansea and you need moments like that to be successful. Takes the pressure off going to the Emirates.
