Arsenal FA Cup SF Post-Match Thread

Strange game and even stranger end to the season for us. Fair fucks to Arsenal for taking full advantage.

I'm struggling to remember a game where we played so poorly

We played that poorly vs Southampton, vs Manchester United, vs Wolves. This is not a 1 off.

If we don't get goals in the tiki taka way we tend to lob balls in non stop looking for someone to head them in but we don't have Edin Dzeko, Balotelli anymore.

Does anyone realistically think that squad can reach the 90-95 points that will be needed to win the PL next season?
The drop off this year has been huge.

The injury excuse can't be used since the restart.

No

The verdict on Monday gives us the motivation to go forward

Pep will know what needs sorting and will I am sure sort

Most of the defeats this season have been very similar and yeah some responsibility lies with the players but does anyone else think Peps entire game plan revolves around the assumption that the opposition is just going to sit back and admire how good City are ? Because it seems to me that when they decide to try and put up a fight we don’t have an alternative plan.

The thought of playing Madrid gives the fucking shivers. We've just been done by a team that has Xhaka, Luiz, Mustafi and Maitland fucking Niles.

To be honest mate, any manager who cannot see how to set up a team to beat us, shouldn't be a manager
