You lot have a strange sense of logic:
1) you take the piss out of the fact our fans pay the highest ticket prices in the country - has it ever dawned on you that without the inflationary impact Abramovich and Mansour have had on players wages the level of ticket prices would be lower across the board?
2) you deride us for having no success - you are one place and 10 points ahead of us in the league. You were already 10 points ahead of us after 5 matches. In other words the worst Arsenal team in 20 years has won as many points over the last 27 matches as the best City team in history.
You have won 1 FA Cup in 40 odd years and are about to lose the league title to your local rivals. Those of you spouting arrogant tripe on the back of those facts never ever deserve to call United fans arrogant again.
Apologies to the sensible majority, but some of you still have a small club mentality. On the evidence of the performances your players put in at the Emirates over the last three years since you won the Abu Dhabi lottery so do they.
09 - 10 Arsenal 0 v Man C 0 - one of the most negative performances I have seen by any team in years,
10 - 11 Arsenal 0 v Man C 0 - as above. City parked the bus and got lucky AFC hit the woodwork 3 times.
11 - 12 Arsenal 1 v Man C - a negative City side played off the park.
Contrast with how Arsenal played at the Etihad for the corresponding seasons ( 2-4 defeat, 3-0 win and 0 - 1 defeat). Every single time we came out to play football the right way.
Some of you act as if you already have achieved something courtesy of your windfall. You haven't. Until you do I suggest some of you learn a little humility and to accept there are football clubs in this world who deserve as much respect as Mansour City 2009.
Sorry to rant.[/quote]
