Definitely 0-0 then.I think this match will be an absolute classic. Two attacking teams going toe to toe in front a raucous Friday night crowd. Both Pep and Arteta will want to avoid a replay at all costs. It is also a chance to lay down a marker for the title run in. Both will play their best line-ups in my view.
A draw isn't the worst result. Would mean they have an extra game to contend with, and I believe their squad isn't as good as ours.
The best result would be a complete hammering of their first XI though. Just to sew some seeds of doubt.
Bookies have us 3/4 and Arsenal at 16/5. Do you think thats fair odds?
Has anyone contacted the club about doing that for Andy?Think we'll lose this one tbh, 57th minute for Andy is the important bit though lads. Won't make it over but I'll be on my feet clapping at home.
pep said foden got injured in the derby.I don't think I've ever felt less able to predict the team that this one. Hr brought back all the players who are "out in the cold" for the United match and then left them all out of the Wolves match. Cancelo, Foden, Walker, Laporte, Bernado...whichever he includes probably tells us who've been training well.
Not sure I believed him to be honest. In any case, he's barely been picked over the last 10ish games.pep said foden got injured in the derby.
Keep em fit all season and you don't need as much depth! Some of the recent league wins have not relied on depth but keeping the strongest 11-15 core players fit all season and avoiding any nightmare injuries.Your squad is undoubtedly better than ours…in fact, the best in the league. That is our Achilles heel and why you’re favourites still (in my view) for the title .
