My only real criticism of Pep from the match is that he should not have left Dias as functionally our playmaker for 30 minutes. Stones would have been a better fit in that role with Dias playing just inside the box to provide screens and layoffs. Dias is not decisive enough on the ball (that has never been his gift, nor is he a good shooter or passer), so that continued to hamstring our build up as the game went on.

Otherwise, Pep did what he could against some truly disgraceful tactics employed by his former number two.

It really is a wonder Arteta was with us as long as he was given how much of a **** it turns out he is.

Akanji is worse than Dias. He can never spot an inclusive pass, and always offloads the ball to the closest player.

Loved it that we scored in added time! Makes it even sweeter.

Other than that it was like dejavu 2nd half. We didn’t look like scoring for most of it so to rescue a point feels like a win. Have to hope Rodri is not out for too long because we went really downhill when he went off.

All the above . Have to ask though. What was the last draw at our place that was celebrated
like that? It was mega and 100% felt like a win.

Had a look at the Newcastle fans forum, hard to say which they liked better, Stones's goal or Haaland then throwing the ball at Gabriel's head. Either way they don't like Arteta.

Regardless of how long it takes Walker to get back into position the ref should allow him time. Walker was in position until the ref called both captains over, surly the ref has to all the captains to pass on his comments

The only other thing was that Walker had got between Martinelli and the goal but Savio didn't cover the run of Calafiori.
It was great strike but he shouldn't have been free
