i am not going to disagree, we were desperate for someone to beat a man, commit somebody and Jack did provide the most drive, my point is we are not going to play Arsenal every week, our wide players will be more effective and Jack has more to offer than standing out wide playing it inside, i also think he has an asset that we really need, and that is a shit load of energy, he looks fit as a flea, we need to take advantage of it.

Rodri was down three times in the first 15 mins. Arm in the face, missed by the ref. Bookable tackle by Trousard and so sent off for his second bookable offence after that. The third unfortunate with a nudge in the back.

Yep. Martinelli. Went down with "cramp", sprinted across to the left side to tackle a City player, then hit the deck again as soon as it went out of play.

All their defenders who started and White are fucking quality. That's why it's so hard to break down when they play like they did on Sunday. They'll have to shit out a hell of a lot of 1-0's though as they look to have the creativity of a robot vacuum cleaner without Odegaard

They tried to stop blocking at corners and free kicks about 8 or 9 years ago. We played at Stoke and each side conceded a penalty for blocking, and then the refs stopped penalising the offence most of the time.
It should be easy to spot using VAR but they rarely seem interested.

Absolutely. Get some line backers in the squad. Form a defensive semi circle. The second the corner is taken run full pelt at the opposition and take them out leaving Eddie on his lonesome to make an easy catch.

Yes - there's a clip of him doing the rounds afterwards whilst he's sat down again telling Oliver to fuck off
 
1000004863.jpgso there was 9 minutes wasted on goal kicks alone according to that. there was 13 minutes of injury time total over the two halves, rodri alone spent over 6 minutes down injured, they had at least half a dozen "injuries" from them, some genuine ones from us, add in goals, var checks, subs, set pieces, throw ins etc and we can estimate the ref miscalculated added time by at least 15 minutes. Why has there been so little made of the lack of substantial injury time?
