Arsenal (h) Post Match Thread

good result, good game, same old arsenal

city did not need the hammer today and just did enough to win the game ?? sloppy at times ?? slow at times ?? and the competed passing rate is just not there, and when we can keep the ball for 3 or 4 minutes the passes add up quick, we are just not slick and firing 100% but the result are the more important thing from now on in the premier league

is it me or do we up our game in the cups this season ?? maybe its a plan to go long in all 3 and try to win them and in the league we just do enough and win the game without going that extra mile, maybe its man management by pep to hold back the team in a long hard season knowing how hard we went last season and the world cup and the main aim is champions league, i have this feeling that if we win the champions league everything else would not matter to much even losing the title to liverpool or spurs would be papered over with that trophy

anyway good win and aguero at his best and looking like he wants it and the premier league golden boot and looking nailed on 20 plus goals again

Watching the Sly recording, why do they employ dickheads ? Neville, Tyler, FFS !!!
Not forgetting.....

Thought it a strange line up, but fair play to Pep proved some of us wrong yet again. Rested a few players and still got the required result. Actually thought Walker and Ota had decent games. Sterling and David not as influential today. Not a big fan, but have to say very well done to Gundo today thought he played very well indeed. What can you really say about Sergio that hasn’t been said before the guy just continues to deliver. Felt a bit sorry for Gab after last few games, but my goodness Sergio provided a response. The guy loves big games. Bernardo was also excellent. Still don’t understand why we concede so often. Win the next two and you just never know....

Good win but I expected nothing less. We perform really well against the so called top teams, it's the mid table and relegation fodder we now struggle against .....and to think not that long ago we were labelled flat track bullies and had a terrible record against the bigger teams.

More worried about Wednesday night than I am about next Sunday

Great result, stood in between the fans today and the Arsenal fans flipped out after the third goal a load were turfed out, funny as hell, only bettered by the Kyle Walker lookalike been rugby tackled trying to get to Walker on the pitch.

We’ve given Arsenal some right hidings over the last ten years. 3-0s 4-2 6-3... but in all those games Arsenal (bar lasts season) were competitive and had numerous chances.

Today, that was the weakest Arsenal side and display I’ve ever seen.

Wenger was Hughes’, Mancini’s, Pellegrini’s and Pep’s woman; but Emery looks tactically less astute than Wenger.

I see years of mediocrity for that club.

As for us, we played quite well, worked much harder than them, but never really got out of third gear and it could have been 4 or 5 easily.
