Must admit I feared the worst when we went 1-0 up in the first minute and, after a good start, conceded and started to look jittery. Deja vu? No chance. We were great in the second half.

Just makes Newcastle all the more bewildering.

We can play better but that was ultimately a very convincing win.

At our best in the second half, for the first time in a while against decent opposition.

Intriguing to see Pep’s new use of Fernandinho in that “duel” role. I know fern will step in as centre half for goal kicks etc, but this was a genuine change. I wasn’t convinced at kickoff but it worked.

The fact that he didn’t sub Fernandinho suggests to me he won’t play against Everton, which would be a big call.

Not a chance, he coasted at CB. Pep just found his position for the next 2 seasons. It was a a walk in the park for him.
He will go back into midfield at Everton no way Pep leaves him out.

Chelsea isn't important untill we beat Everton 1st.

Thought the tactics were spot on nobody seen that coming.

Pep obviously does not trust Delph, Danilo & Zinchenko against the best teams.

Today proved LB is 1st on the agenda come July.

Though Gundagun had a very good game world class pass to Sterling & his assist & work rate today was AWSOME.

Aguero get 3 & MOM but wow Bernardo was everywhere he was best player on the park.

Great 3 points makes me want to go to work, look on internet & watch MOTD.

Yeah. If it wasn’t for Kuns goals I’d have found it hard to split Raz and Bernie for MOTM

What more proof does anyone need that Sergio is the greatest goalscorer in Prem history ? Never had an average season - let alone a poor one. We don't know what it's like to face Sergio, and like David I'm sure some take his stellar brilliance for granted. Not me.
