Arsenal (h) post-match thread

Good report. Unlike the MSM who are loth to give any credit to City preferring to say how bad Arsenal are. So bad I understand they were the only undefeated PL side in 2020 up until yesterday.

He certainly was.

The temerity to be back playing again in five days time, such was Tyler trying to back up his disgusting point.

Perhaps Ed can show this tool the scar from the 18 stitches he also required.

Why should he? Mr Tyler is a professional (...), so we can assume he's aware of this. He simply chooses to ignore it. Same way he chooses to let his feelings talk, the guy cannot control his hatred towards City. Which makes him an embarrassment to his profession.

It's irrelevant, anyway, if you ask me. I mean, you do not really need the "evidence", do you? Scar or not, 18 stitches or not, it was 100% a red card. Fact. What makes it worse is the following 3 things:
  • The Liverpool player was totally aware of the possible consequences of his action. I've seen it numerous times, there was danger there, it was more than evident. He could -and should- have avoided the "challenge". He didn't.
  • Mane's action was justified by his manager (!!!) who also complained about the red card (!!!). Another professional lost in the heat of a derby...
  • The Liverpool fans' reaction (!!!). Well, at least they're not professionals...
One of the reasons I enjoyed that 5-0 victory so, so much. It's in history books now. And Mr Tyler can do nothing about it...

Mr Tyler has many faults but this is up there.... for a so called professional even to state that its ridiculous.....Neville should has at least called him out that's why we need a big profile ex player to fight back ...Micha just getting his feet under the table so hopefully but needs to be right back into them.
I'm available for selection if required but don't think I would be on air long

Tyler is 74. To put it into context Motson is the same age and hasn't been anywhere near a live tv broadcast for years. Barry Davies was pulled off football at the age of 66.

Why on earth Sky haven't put him to to grass is anybody's guess.
