There's a zip and a fluidity to our play that is such a joy to watch. We are so good and, as the manager said, we can be even better.
It was 20 mins, and Henry was on the bench. Our self deprecating humour was in full flow when he came on. 'Who the fucking hell are you!' Was the chant. Even had Arsenal fans ringing up GMR after the game praising us for itHow times change. Seems like yesterday I was watching Arsenal go 4 up in 30 mins at Maine Road (2003?). Henry etc racing past Dunney . Arsenal fans rightly gloating. Probably thinking this is how it will always be.
I know some think it’s a passé now to think where we’ve come from. But days like these should be treasured
Spoiled now, she is. Pity she missed the defeat by Bury at Maine Road, that would have set her on the way to happiness. Or something. My daughters first game today, thought I'd get her in while she is still free!
She loved it, I missed most of the game through fighting back tears, soppy old bastard that I am lol
It was a great day. Tired and exhausted. One for the memory banks that. I didn't think we did anything spectacular. Good players working hard.A lovely riposte to a shit football and off the pitch week Many good performances today
He had a light bulb moment. Was all over at 2-0 and then the sending off made it academic.
On the negative side Sterling can't hit a barn door and what was Edison on in the first half?
Thats great. Looking forward to taking my nephew. He is about 7 I think. Just about the right age. He'd be amazed at the crowd and noise. My daughters first game today, thought I'd get her in while she is still free!
